I love the simplicity and clean look of reed diffusers. I wanted to try making one in one of my favorite seasonal scents, Pumpkin. I thought it would pair nicely with my MPH wax melts. I have to say this was so easy to make and I love how it fills the room up with such a beautiful scent. It’s nice to have the same seasonal scents carry from room to room with the array of different products.

  • A bottle with a narrow neck
  • Bamboo skewers
  • 30 drops of essential oil ( I used Pumpkin)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Splash of vodka

In a bowl, mix the water, oil and vodka together. Pour the mixture into the bottle and add the bamboo skewers. Voila…you have a homemade scent diffuser that you can enjoy for months. A tip- flip the sticks periodically if you want a boost of scent in the room.
