Now that Molly is back in school, I’m always on the lookout for easy and healthy after school snacks. It’s been too hot to cook the last few weeks, so we are especially loving easy and refreshing recipes. Molly and I tried this Garlic Hummus recipe recently and it was so quick and easy to make but was DELICIOUS. I hope you enjoy!

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 1 can of drained and rinsed chick peas (garbanzo beans)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 7 tbsp Tahini
  • 1 fresh squeeze of lemon
  • 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Combine ingredients into a large mixing bowl.

Blend on high for 3-4 minutes until smooth.

Serve with veggies, pita chips or anything you like. We used fresh veggies from the garden.

Enjoy!
