I love making relaxing eye masks. They help me relax and reduce the look of puffy eyes after a long day. I came up with a super easy and fast way to make an eye mask without breaking the bank. I used an old MPH muslin bag and items I had around the house and pantry to whip up this eye mask. It took about 15 minutes to do. Here’s how I did it.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 1 1/2 cups of quinoa
  • 1/2 cup dried lavender
  • 10 drops lavender essential oil
  • Monica Potter Home muslin bag
  • Scissors
  • Needle and thread

This is seriously one of the easiest DIY’s to make. In the time it takes to write this recipe, you could be done with the DIY.

Start by mixing the quinoa, dried lavender and lavender essential oil in a bowl.

Pour the mixture into the muslin bag. You want to fill it almost to the top, leaving some room to stitch up the end.

Stitch up the end with a needle and thread and your eye mask is ready to use.

You could also store this in the fridge or warm it in the microwave before using. I like to spray a light mist of MPH Lavender Mist to the mask before using. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do and it brings you some relaxation.
